Memorial Day Tribute

What does it mean to be adopted?

Mother's Day

I wanted to write a quick post about my Mother's Day last week. Chris and Katie got me a flower which Katie picked out for me and they made me a card. I also got a shirt that says "Moms Do The Hard Work, Dads do the Yardwork". And I got the movie/cd combo pack "Change of Plans" starring one of my favorite singers: Brooke White. The movie is about adoption! Here's the synopsis from www.familymovienight.com:

"Up to this point, Sally Danville's life has played out just as she hoped it would. A beautiful and free-spirited musician, she and her fighter-pilot husband, Jason, live life on the go, free of domestic responsibilities. Now Sally and Jason (Joe Flanigan, Stargate Atlantis) must quickly learn to parent this instant family and help the kids deal with the culture clash of life in America. The story is both humorous and heartwarming, revealing how fulfilling life can be when you look beyond your own plans and invest in the lives of others."

I love this movie and I love the soundtrack too!

Katie's Birthday

For Katie's birthday we went to a place called Jumpin Jungle. There are lots of big inflatable toys to jump and slide on. The adults get to play too. Here's some pics:
