Fall/Winter 2014

We went to the corn maze with Deedra and Curtis and their kids, and Katie's friend.  It was a lot of fun!  Katie was too excited to go play and didn't want to stop and pose for pictures.  Notice the anxious smiles.  :-)

The kids loved the tractor carts!

On the wagon ride.

All the kid's favorite was playing in the corn box.

Katie and I made a diorama for a class project.  Her topic was coyotes.

Katie and her friend and I painted these.

Church Halloween party and trunk or treat.  Howdy!

Aaaaaa!  It's bigfoot!

Time for trick or treating.

We went with our neighbors.

Katie loves the snow!  When we had a really big snowstorm, Katie drew a picture of what she wanted to build in the snow.  Katie and Mommy built it the next day.

Katie was making some funny faces while we were taking pictures.
Katie and Daddy also built these snow people.  A dad, mom, and child.

Katie really wanted to make a gingerbread house this year.  But when she saw the train kit she wanted that instead.

Katie also had a school project where she had to choose a fairy tale and make a book jacket for the story.  She chose the Gingerbread Man.

Thanksgiving family photo!

Christmas morning.  Chris and Katie picked out this wind chime for me.  I love it!

Daddy loves his Bronco shirts!  Katie also picked out a little broncos football to hang from his rear view mirror in his truck.

Katie loves La La Loopsey dolls.  She also got some accessories for her My Life doll.

And Hello Kitty!

Hello Kitty matching ear rings and necklace.

Katie actually cried when she opened this present.  She wanted a tablet really bad.

I found this picture from Katie's kindergarten class.  They took these pictures at the end of the school year as part of graduation.  She has changed her mind several times since then about what she wants to be when she grows up.  One of them includes being an artist.  She loves anything artsy.

Late Spring and Summer 2014

Katie and Mommy went to her end of the school year party.  They had games, face painting, a camel, barrel rides, music, picture booths, food, and more.  It was fun!

Chris's parents and sister and her husband came to town for Chris's sister Jessi and her husband Cori getting sealed to each other and their children in the temple, and for Chris's sister Marissa and fiance Travis's wedding.  We didn't get any pictures at the temple.  But here are some pictures from that week.

Dan and Rachael stayed at our house for a week.  Rachael and Katie had fun playing with Katie's dollhouse.

Dinner with Chris's parents, Mary and Jessie, and  with Dan and Rachael.  Chris's dad came after the photo was taken.  We had a fun time.  After dinner we went out in the backyard and sat and talked and played a game.

This is at Chris's sister's wedding: Travis and Marissa.  Here is Chris's brother Michael, and nephew Tristan, with a lady that Michael takes care of for his employment.

It was a beautiful wedding ceremony!

After the ceremony we went inside for dinner.

Travis, Jessi, Marissa, Michael, Rachael, and Chris.

Tristan, Chris, Katelynn, Tamara, Marissa, and Travis.  With one of Jessi's boys up front.

We went to Steve and Callie's (friends) wedding open house where Katie got ride a horse for the very first time.  She was so excited!  She had a blast!

Katie did a school project on family history.  She chose to research about her Great Great Grandma on Chris's side of the family, who was from the Creek Indian Tribe.  She did a great job presenting.
We went to an air show at the Air Force Base.  It was fun!

The tires are taller than Katie!

They had a lot of airplanes, jets, and jeeps on display.  We got to go inside of this one.  But it was really hot so we just barely went in and came back out real quick.

The Thunderbirds lined up before their turn in the show.  They were the grand finale.

Katie on Daddy's shoulders to get a better look at the Thunderbirds taking off.

There they go!

They were awesome!
