The best oatmeal raisin cookies ever

Oatmeal raisin cookies are my favorite dessert. I have been searching for a long time and I finally found a good recipe for oatmeal raisin cookies! In fact they're not just good, they are the best I've ever had. Yum-O! Here's the recipe from Cooking Light Cookbook: (thanks so much to Krista for letting me borrow your book)

Oatmeal-Walnut Cookies
½ c gran. Sugar
1/3 c. packed dark brown sugar
¼ c. butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 large egg
¾ c all-purpose flour
1 c regular oats
¼ tsp salt
2/3 c golden raisins
¼ c chopped toasted walnuts
Cooking spray
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Place first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Beat w/ a mixer at medium speed until well blended. Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level w/ a knife. Add flour, oats, and salt to egg mixture; beat well. Stir in raisins and walnuts.
3. Drop by level tablespoons 1 ½ inches apart onto a large baking sheet coated w/ cooking spray. Bake at 350 for 12 min. or until lightly browned. Remove from oven, and let stand 2 min. Remove cookies from pan; cool on a wire rack. Yield: 2 dozen (serving size: 1 cookie).

You have no idea how bad I want to make these but it would totally sabatoge our diets and I can't risk it! Light recipe or not! We are doing pretty good (almost to the 1st 10 pound mark) so I'll just have to write it down and try it another time. Sounds absoulutely delicious!
